Martin Hernandez Opens Bid for County Supervisor

On Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:30 a.m., in the Courtyard of the Ventura County Government Center, 800 Victoria Avenue. Martin Hernandez officially opened his campaign for the 3rd District Supervisory seat presently held by Supervisor Kathy Long. As Chief of Staff to Kathy Long, Martin was involved in the running of the 3rd District’s affairs since 2010; and before as Office Manager since 2001. He repeatedly represented Kathy Long at functions and meetings when Kathy Long was not able to attend.
At the well-attended kickoff several dignitaries and supporters spoke of the many problems solved by Martin and his familiarity and dedication to the residents of the district. His family was there for the kickoff, including one of his sons serving in the Marine Corps. His other son could not attend due to his duties in the U.S. Army. Martin himself is a veteran of the Air Force.
He has proven over and over his dedication to the resident of the district and has always maintained an overwhelming attitude as a problem solver. The kickoff closed with cookies, refreshments and pictures.
