During the most recent incident, the suspects broke a window to access the residence.
Over the next several weeks, Ojai detectives conducted an investigation that led to the identity of six suspects; five juvenile males, 15 to 17, and 18-year old Jose Quintero. Detectives were able to recover the stolen property and obtain admissions from all suspects. All of the suspects were arrested and charged with Penal Code 459 – Residential Burglary.  Juvenile 1 (age 17), who was involved in both burglaries and responsible for their coordination, was booked into Juvenile Hall on two counts of PC 459 and is being held without bail. Quintero was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail and his bail was set at $50,000.
