Strong Arm Robbery

On Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 1 a.m., the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a call from the victim of a robbery.  The victim, Desire Alcorn reported that she had been robbed near the Shell gas station at 2440 S. Victoria Avenue.
The suspect, a Hispanic Male 20 to 24, was riding in the passenger seat of a sedan with two other male subjects.  The vehicle stopped alongside the victim and initiated a conversation.  The suspect exited the vehicle and approached the victim on foot.  The victim was on her cell phone when the suspect reached up and snatched the phone from her hands.  The suspect returned to the waiting vehicle, and the vehicle was last seen traveling northbound on Victoria. Alcorn was not injured as a result of this crime.
