On Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 7:45 a.m., the Oxnard Police Department and emergency medical personnel responded to an unconscious female in the south alley of the 1700 block of South Oxnard Boulevard. Emergency personnel arrived and located an unresponsive female who was declared deceased at the scene. Detectives arrived on scene and began an investigation into her death.
During the investigation, the female was identified as 32 year old Angela Marie Carrillo, an Oxnard resident.
On Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., an autopsy was conducted at the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office in order to determine Carrillo’s cause of death. Investigators noted there were no visible signs of trauma.
Carrillo’s death remains undetermined pending toxicology results. The investigation is continuing.
