On Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 4:11 a.m., the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a report of alarm activation at the College Pharmacy located on N. Ashwood Avenue.
Patrol officers responded and arrived on scene within minutes and discovered the front door of the business had been forced open. The suspects had already fled the area and the officers investigation determined that two suspects forced open the front door to gain entry into the business.
Once inside the suspects gathered medications and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
A description of the suspects was obtained from the business security camera footage. They were both described as two males wearing hooded jackets and dark pants.
This crime may be related to similar pharmacy burglaries that have occurred in Ventura and Los Angeles counties over the last several weeks.
