Restaurant Robbery Suspect Arrested

Beginning on July 12, 2015, investigators with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office began connecting a series of restaurant robberies that occurred in Thousand Oaks.  There were a total of three crimes that were connected through the suspect’s description and the method of operation in which the crimes were committed. In all three robberies the lone suspect used a semi-automatic handgun to instill fear into his victims and get them to comply with his demands for money.
Through the investigation, information and evidence was generated which identified Andre Terial Love, 37, of Los Angeles, as the prime suspect.                                                                                                    On Thursday, June 09, 2016 at 10:15 a.m., Andre Terial Love was arrested at his work site in Newhall.  Evidence related to the crimes was recovered.  Investigators believe Love is responsible for the three restaurant robberies in Thousand Oaks, but are not ruling out the possibility there might be more in other jurisdictions. Love was booked into custody at the Ventura County Main Jail for second degree robbery.  Love’s bail is currently set at one million dollars.
