Armed Robbery

On Monday, June 27, 2016 at 2:34 p.m., the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a 911 call of an armed robbery that just occurred at Mail Boxes on Main, 2674 E. Main Street.  It was reported the suspect entered the business and pointed a handgun at the owner.  The suspect demanded cash from the register.  The owner complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.  He then fled the business and was last seen running southbound towards Thompson Boulevard.
Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect described as a Hispanic Male, 25-30 years, wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans. The victim was not injured as a result of the robbery.
