Christopher Camper Homicide – Vehicle of Interest


Detectives with the Oxnard Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate a “vehicle of interest” related to the murder of Christopher Camper.
Christopher Camper, 32, was shot to death on June 25, 2016 at 5:15 p.m. as he stood at a bus stop in the 1900 block of North Ventura Road.
Detectives obtained information that a silver 1990’s model Cadillac sedan was in a parking lot near where Camper was gunned down. Detectives believe the driver of the Cadillac may have witnessed the incident and can provide vital information to assist with the investigation.
The City of Oxnard offers a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect(s) in homicide cases. Anyone with knowledge of the silver Cadillac mentioned above, or any person who witnessed the murder of Christopher Camper is asked to contact Detective Edgar Fernandez at (805) 385-7645.
