National Night Out Block Parties

National Night Out enhances the relationships between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It furthermore provides an opportunity to bring police and neighbors together. The official day to observe National Night Out is the first Tuesday of August. This year’s National Night Out is August 2nd. In order to accommodate neighborhoods in our community, the Camarillo Police Department will observe National Night Out during Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 12 to 4 p.m.
This is the 33rd anniversary of National Night Out with over 38 million people across the country expected to participate. This is a great event to socialize with your neighbors and at the same time enhance community / neighborhood spirit.  To register for a neighborhood block party, groups can register online at the City of Camarillo website: or by walking into City Hall and completing the paperwork. For more information on National Night Out, please call our Community Resource Unit at (805) 388-5155. The Camarillo Police Department will attend as many of the local block parties as time permits.
