The Charlotte Division of the FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted for murdering a Fort Bragg soldier. A federal warrant for Murder (18 USC 1111) was issued for 27-year-old Jason Earl Armstrong, Jr., on July 8, 2016. Armstrong is accused of killing his wife, Iris Armstrong inside their home on the Fort Bragg Army Base in Fayetteville, North Carolina on July 1, 2016. He is described as having black hair, brown eyes, 5’11”-6’, and weighing 150-160 lbs.
Armstrong has ties to Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, California, Louisiana, and Arizona. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Specific locations are listed below:
Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX, Dallas, TX; Amarillo, TX; Columbia, SC; Orange County, CA; Los Angeles, CA; New Orleans, LA; Phoenix, AZ.
He was seen on surveillance video using the victim’s debit card shortly after the murder occurred. If you know where Jason Earl Armstrong Jr., is or if you see him, do not approach him, call 911 or your local FBI office. The investigation is being led by the FBI Charlotte Division, Fayetteville Resident Agency with assistance from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Division.
